Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML use cases. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, practical knowledge of data engineering workflows, and proven experience with Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a professional who can work end-to-end across the ML lifecycle—data preparation, model building, deployment, and monitoring—while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions using Python.
  • Work extensively with Vertex AI and other GCP services to build scalable ML pipelines.
  • Perform data preparation, feature engineering, and preprocessing for structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries to work effectively with large datasets.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to deliver AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Implement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews using Bitbucket and related tools.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve deployed models using appropriate metrics and techniques.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
    • Master’s degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Python for ML/AI development (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
    • Hands-on experience with Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, AI APIs, etc.).
    • Solid understanding of SQL for data querying, transformation, and debugging.
    • Experience with Bitbucket (or similar Git-based tools) for version control and collaboration.
    • Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools (CI/CD, containerization with Docker, model monitoring).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines).
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Certifications in Google Cloud (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer).
