Senior Devops Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and maintain scalable and reliable applications or enterprise software systems.

· Support architecture for complex applications ensuring they meet business requirements.

· Ensure systems deliver to meet resilience requirements

· Implement best practices in coding and software development.

· Perform the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms.

· Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

· Manage cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

· Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, QA, etc.).

· Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

· Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Develop scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.

· Ensure software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.

· Implement security best practices and conduct regular security assessments.

· Adhere to access controls and protect sensitive data.

· Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure setups.

· Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

· Continuously improve systems, processes, and methodologies.

· Participate in project planning and execution.

· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

· Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements.

· Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.

· Explore generative AI technologies to enhance software capabilities.

· Deploy AI models for automated content generation and predictive analytics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field · Knowledge of AI and Generative AI technologies · Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in application / platform engineering or software engineering role. · Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks and infrastructure management. · Working knowledge of programming frameworks (e.g., .NET, JAVA) and application development. · Working experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management, including writing and maintaining modules. · Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), including creating and managing pipelines. · Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including designing and implementing cloud services and architectures. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring platform reliability and scalability.
