What You Will Do on the Job

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, code, and test software solutions that align with project requirements and best practices.

  2. Analyze complex problems, propose effective solutions, and troubleshoot issues during development.

  3. Review code written by other team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.

  4. Contribute to architectural decisions and design of software systems, considering scalability, maintainability, and performance.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, QA Engineers, and Designers, to deliver high-quality software products.

  6. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of code, technical designs, and development processes.

  7. Write unit tests and participate in QA and testing activities to ensure software reliability and quality.

  8. Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories effectively.

  9. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying them to improve development processes and products.

  10. Manage individual tasks and contribute to project planning and estimation processes.

What Skills We Are Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4–6 years of professional software development experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Ruby.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, practices, and design patterns.

  • Experience with web application development frameworks (advantageous).

  • Knowledge of database design and SQL.

  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.

  • Certifications in relevant programming languages or frameworks are advantageous.
